Best time to visit Dalyan: spring, autumn or summer?

For most travellers, the best time to visit Dalyan is April to June and September to October. The days are warm but not heavy, the delta is alive and day trips feel easier than in peak summer.

Who spring is right for

Spring in Dalyan smells of orange blossom, herbs and wet earth. The days are long enough for boat trips, Kaunos and Iztuzu, but not yet exhausting.

For yoga groups, walkers and guests arriving from the UK, Germany or Switzerland, this is often the sweet spot. Practise in the morning, read at midday, eat slowly in the evening.

Summer: beach, pool and slow days

July and August are the hottest months. If you love heat, swimming and planning the day around water, summer works beautifully.

We suggest early excursions, a proper garden pause in the afternoon and pool evenings. Families benefit from short distances and the separate children's pools.

Why autumn is underrated

In September and October the sea is still warm, the air is softer and Dalyan becomes noticeably quieter. Many returning guests choose this period.

For retreats, autumn is especially strong: steady days, pleasant evenings and less pressure on flights, boats and restaurants.
